I officially take WAY too many pictures

Sun Oct 25, 2009, 4:49 PM
So I'm going through all my old photographs that I've taken these past few years, and all I can really say is WOW. I can't even begin to tell you how many pictures I've taken, although quite a few of them...well...suck. XD I'm not even sure why I kept them. Nevertheless, I've got a whopping 602 photos to go through at the moment that are potential stock.

o_____________O

  • Mood: Overwhelmed
  • Listening to: a sleeping house
  • Watching: Edward Scissorhands on ABC Fam
  • Drinking: Mountain Dew (oops, has an n)

Call me swillowness, swillow, swillowkins, willow, or whatever suits you. :)

My original name was s.ilent w.illow (anyone play Horseland? yeah, that's me), but my nickname was swillow/swillowness, and I just stuck with that. Anywaysssss..........

I can be an extremely random person, even to the point of awkwardness, but that's generally reserved for only my most sugar-fueled hyper moments. You could say I'm smart, but that's truly relative. *nods*

If you're interested, my political standpoint is moderate leaning towards liberal, but I'm an open-minded person as long as you don't shove your opinions down my throat.

For the most part, I'm a patient and understanding person, but I do experience moodswings, so I apologize in advance if one day I'm your best friend and the next day I rip your head off. o__O You can greatly reduce your chances of dismemberment if you don't do any of the following:
1. be a blatant hypocrite
2. be obnoxious and demanding
3. rudely critic my work ("your work sucks. you should go crawl and a hole and die your work sucks so bad.")
4. be rude/mean to my friends
5. shove your opinions down my throat (see previous section)

Animals are basically my life. If you put a baby and a puppy in front of me, I'll go for the puppy.
I have two dogs at the moment. Big Dog, a sexy blend of several breeds, and Lovie, a foxhound/pointer mix who is possibly the most obnoxious dog on Earth. I simply love animals, dogs especially, and understand and connect with them fairly well. Oh, and do the world a favor: PLEASE go adopt dogs and cats from local shelters and Humane Societies. They can be great pets and generally cost A LOT less than little yippy inbred purebreds. Yes, they have issues, but NO that does not mean they can't be AMAZING. ALL my animals are rescues, and I love them, issues and all, with every bone in my body.

Nature is also AMAZING. Take a moment to listen to the birds singing, especially in the mid-morning when the temperature has recently warmed (ie. it's been 30s-50s F and the next day is 60s-70s). It's a symphony no musician could ever replicate.

Winter sucks unless it's snowing, but pretty much any other season's fine by me. Especially summer. Warmth, being outside all day, having no school, mmmmmmm, nothing better. <3
